Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen and remain high at the Mancetter river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible today, Monday, 06/01/2025. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the areas around Lodge Close in Mancetter, Bridge Lane and Riverside in Witherley, Royal Meadow Drive, Ratcliffe Road and Aldermill Business Park in Atherstone.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high today, Monday 06/01/25.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety. Have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents and call 999 if in immediate danger
