Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels remain high at the Little Alne river gauge and will remain high during Friday and into Saturday. More rain is forecast over the next 24hours. Flooding is likely to affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Arrow between Studley and Salford Priors and the River Alne between Bird in Hand and Alcester on the River Alne including farmland and caravan parks.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move a car.
Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued.
This message will be updated by 11:00 Saturday 28 February.
