Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Eardisland river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected today, 24/11/24 into Monday 25/11/24. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in and around Eardisland.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain elevated over the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 08:00 on Monday 25/11/24, or as the situation changes.
