River levels are rising at the Bidford river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible this morning and throughout today, 15/11/19. Flooding is likely to affect properties around Welford Road and Owlets End in Barton, Honeybourne Road and High Street area in Bidford on Avon and The Bank in Marlcliff. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
