Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Evesham river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected by midday, on the 06/01/25. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Waterside road area as well as the road and the car park on the meadow. Pershore road bridge is now flooded and a road closure may now be in effect. Predicted peak:- Evesham 3.5m to 3.8m this evening, the 06/01/25.
We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
Please move possession and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated by 18:00 on 06/01/25, or if the situation changes.
