Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high but are falling at the Warwick river gauge following recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Flooding could still be affecting properties and roads in the Emscote Road, Mill House Close, Grange Close, Bridge Street, Mercia Way, Field Close, Rich Close, Frances Avenue, St Nicholas Park, Mill Street and Bridge End areas.
No significant further rainfall is forecast over the weekend and although river levels are falling, they still pose a flood risk.
We are continuing to closely monitor the situation and our incident response staff will be out again clearing weed screens and checking any existing defences.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid contact with flood water.
