Flood alert

High river levels on Saturday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 07 February 2026 following 25mm of rain in 36 hours.
River levels are high and flooding is affecting land, fields, and roads at Cadnam, West Wellow, Landford and Ower. Water levels will also be very high around, and affecting the mill building at East Wellow. Levels are expected to rise again, as up to 20mm of rain is forecast on Saturday 07/02/2026. Following light showers (7mm) on Sunday, further rain is forecast for Monday and Tuesday. If this is realised, the river will respond again with higher river levels and flood risk likely to remain into next week.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have , including pumps.
