Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have been falling steadily on the River Bourne. Areas most at risk include Luggershall Road and Penning Road North of Plassey Close in Tidworth and at High St Junction with Bulford Road in Shipton Bellinger. The forecast is dry for overnight. River levels are now falling steadily, but the risk of flooding to low-lying land remains. We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this warning if necessary. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 1:00 PM on 24/02/2024, or as the situation changes.
