River Brent from Hendon to Brentford Flood alert 5:52pm, Friday 5th July 2024

Flood alert

River levels are rising on the River Brent due to heavy rainfall today, Friday 5th July. Levels on the Wembley Brook are also high.
Flooding to roads and low lying land is possible this evening onwards.
Areas most at risk include, Stonebridge Park, A41 near Tesco, Brent Cross; Perival Park Golf Course and Ruislip Road East sports ground opposite Gurnell Grove.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
This message will be updated by 10:00am tomorrow, Saturday 6th July, or as the situation changes.
