Flood alert

High river levels today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 10 January 2026 .
River levels remain high following heavy rainfall from Storm Goretti. Areas most at risk are low lying roads and riverside areas between Horsford and Crostwick on the Spixworth Beck, and Corpusty, Saxthorpe, Itteringham, Ingworth, Aylsham and Burgh-next-Aylsham on the Bure.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are not expecting the situation to escalate.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . Avoid low lying roads near rivers which may now be flooded.
