High river levels today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 18 December 2025 .
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Cale tributaries between Shalford and Southmarsh and the confluence with the River Stour. Further flooding is possible throughout Thursday afternoon as river levels continue to rise, though rainfall is forecast to slow throughout the evening.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
