Flooding expected. Take action now.
This Flood Warning has been issued because flooding is expected this morning on 21/10/2021 between 04:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Cale, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Hopkins Court, Bennetts Field Trading Estate, Whitehall, Moor Lane and part of the A371; Hopkins Court, Bennetts Field Trading Estate, Whitehall, Moor Lane and part of the A372.
We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert/warning if necessary.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your surroundings.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
