Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels have risen on the Chess and are expected to remain high.
Flooding is affecting locations near the Chess, with low lying land the most affected, particularly around Pednormead End, Missenden Road, Scotsbridge, Chesham, and Rickmansworth.
The forecast is dry for overnight into tomorrow, Monday 4th March.
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
This message will be updated by 9am tomorrow, or as the situation changes.
