Flooding expected. Take action now.
Flooding is expected today Sunday 31 January. Some high intensity rainfall has passed the area which has pushed river levels past flood warning criteria.
River levels remain high as ground is saturated. Further intense rainfall is expected throughout the day and rivers are likely to respond. River levels are expected to peak at 5pm.
Flooding is possible to properties, low lying land and roads close to the river. Take care near the areas of concern and monitor local conditions. We are monitoring river levels and have staff in the area checking for and clearing blockages. This message will be updated later today or earlier if the situation changes.
