River levels are rising steadily on the River Coquet due to Storm Babet.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Coquet, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Properties including, Brinkburn Priory, Weldon Bridge and Weldon Mill.
Flooding is expected to affect Properties including, Brinkburn Priory, Weldon Bridge and Weldon Mill from 03:00 PM on 20/10/2023.
Further rainfall is forecast overnight.
River levels are high and forecast to rise further and the risk of flooding to properties remains.
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
