Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Rising river levels today may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible on 15 November 2025 . 
Areas most affected are towards bottom end of Crimple Beck towards the confluence with the River Nidd.
Rainfall associated from Storm Claudia is easing this morning, however, levels are expected to remain high today.
Locations most affected will be land around the River Crimple and its tributaries including Horn Beck, Clark Beck, Hookstone Beck, Rud Beck, Toad Hole Beck and Park Beck. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 12:00AM on 16 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
