Flood warning

Flooding is expected overnight on Sunday 24th November into Monday.
Heavy rain falling in the Mid Devon area throughout today is causing the River Culm to rise and the river is forecast to continue rising through the day.
Properties and low lying areas in Hele, Silverton Mills, Rewe, the A396 at Stoke Canon and roads at Columbjohn and Westcott, will start to flood first from 11pm.
Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.
We will be closely monitoring the situation, and this message will be updated if the situation changes.
