Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high but steady at the Derby St Marys river gauge following recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding is expected to continue. The area most at risk is Elvaston Castle Country Park.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Tuesday, 22/02/2022.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services.
Please avoid contact with flood water and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated tonight at 01:30, or as the situation changes.
