Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels continue to remain high at the Woolsthorpe river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland continues into this evening, 06/01/25. Areas most at risk are Bottesford, including East-thorpe, Muston, and Woolsthorpe. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation.
Activate your flood plan if you have not done so already and follow advice from the emergency services.
Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. To check the status of road closures online, please visit the One Network live map.
