Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have started to fall but still remain high on the River Doe Lea due to persistent heavy rain yesterday, Friday 20th October. Flooding is still possible at Staveley and Pools Brook at Duckmanton.
There remains a risk of flooding to properties at Riverdale park, Bent Lane, Staveley, Chesterfield, and St. Johns House, Bent Lane, Staveley, Chesterfield.
Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions, and consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
