Flood Warning

This warning remains in force. The Lower River Don levels have dropped however washlands in the lower catchments are still in operation. A further band of rain is expected to move across South Yorkshire from the afternoon / overnight on the 14th of November. Given the wet ground conditions, we expect local rivers to respond, however forecast rainfall is not expected to reach similar totals to those seen on the 7th and 8th of November. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident room remains open 24/7. Our incident response staff have deployed pumps, people and equipment. See GOV.UK for a 5 day flood forecast, and call 0800 807060 to report any flood impacts. Please plan your journey to avoid low lying roads, and check before you travel. https://www.doncaster.gov.uk/services/transport-streets-parking/current-roadworks. This message will be updated by 11:50 on 14/11/19, or as the situation changes.
