Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are dropping, however standing water may remain for the next few days. Today’s scattered showers have largely passed through and we do not currently expect any further significant effects overnight. We continue to support the coordinated multi‐agency response and our incident room remains open. Please do not walk or drive through floodwater.
Looking ahead we are expecting a band of rain to move across the catchments broadly from the East on Thursday night. Given the wet condition of the catchment, we expect to see the rivers respond and are monitoring the forecast closely. See GOV.UK for a 5 day flood forecast.
