Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels at our Mexborough Lock river level gauge peaked on 08/11/2019 and have continued to fall through today, 09/11/19. Levels are expected to remain high throughout the weekend into Monday 11/11/19, with the catchment nearing capacity, so this warning remains in force.
The weather should mainly be dry on Saturday and Sunday with no significant rain forecast on these days. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the forecast and our incident room remains open. Please see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast.
Please do not walk or drive through fast moving water. To report flooding impacts, please call 0800 80 70 60, and call the Floodline helpline for advice on 0345 988 1188.
