The River Don at our Rotherham gauge peaked yesterday a level above what was seen on the Don in this location in 2007. The River has continued to fall throughout today and is now below levels of concern. We are closely monitoring the situation from the Leeds Incident Room which is still open.
Please be aware that there may still be standing water and debris around so remain aware of your surroundings when in this area. If you have been affected by flooding call the Incident Hotline on 0800 80 70 60.
