Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels remain high at the Ebbesbourne Wake river gauge due to recent rain and high ground water levels. Flooding could still affect locations near the River Ebble, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around tributaries between Alvediston and Nunton. Further rainfall is expected today and over the next few days which will keep river levels high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. People in this area should continue to monitor local water levels and weather conditions. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 13 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
