Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen at the Linstock river gauge as a result of Saturdays heavy rainfall. The river will remain high throughout the morning 16/02/2020 and will start to drop late afternoon. Low lying roads, agricultural land, residential and commercial properties around the River Eden at Rickerby Village is likely to be affected.
Currently no further heavy rainfall is forecast but we may see some showers. We are continue to monitor the situation. Please move family, pets and cars to safety. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
