River levels are forecast to rise on the River Eden due to heavy rainfall, peaking at 5:00 AM on Monday 22/12024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Eden, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Warwick Park, Holme Eden Gardens, the A69 and Down A Gate Community Centre areas.
No further rainfall is forecast tonight.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your surroundings.
