Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 
Flooding is expected from the early hours of 15 November 2025 . 
Areas most at risk are Illkeston including Station Street and Furnace Road. Rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. River levels at Shipley Gate Gauge are rising rapidly due to the nature of the catchment. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 7:30AM on 15 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
