Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels are high in response to ongoing rainfall associated with Storm Darragh. Areas most at risk include low lying land in the Esk Valley and some minor roads. Further rainfall is expected today, Saturday 07/12/2024 and levels are expected to rise further on the Esk. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 08:00am on Sunday, 08/12/2024, or as the situation changes.
