Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are high on the River Foulness due to rainfall. Flooding is affecting locations near the River Foulness, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around properties along the River Foulness, the A614 and Drain Lane. Further rainfall is forecast tomorrow morning, Friday 5/1/24. River levels are expected to remain high into the weekend. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area. Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 08:00 PM on 04/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
