Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high and further rainfall is expected to cause flooding from today and tomorrow.
Flooding is expected from 30 January 2026 through to 31 January 2026.
Heavy rain has caused river levels to rise, with further rain expected overnight and in to tomorrow. Catchments are saturated and river levels are expected to remain high.
The risk of flooding to properties and low lying areas will remain. The main areas of concern are properties and low lying areas around the bottom of Tregembo Hill, Green Lane, Battery Hill Playground, Chapel Hill and Chenhalls Road. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
River levels are forecast to be at their highest between 10AM and 2PM on 31 January 2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
