Flood alert

River levels are high but steady on the Ingrebourne due to heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours.
Areas most at risk include Norfolk Rise; Hacton Lane and Rainham Trading Estate.
Further rainfall is forecast throughout tthe day.
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
