Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is expected. River levels have risen but are now starting to fall on the River Kennet at Marlborough as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected this evening 05/01/2024, especially in the areas closest to the River. The forecast is for scattered showers overnight and into tomorrow. We expect river levels to continue falling, but to remain responsive to further rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 06/01/24, or as the situation changes.
