Flood warning

Further property flooding is not expected.

River levels on the River Lambourn are high following rainfall over the last month and high groundwater levels. Further flooding of property is not expected but flooding of roads and low lying land may continue today 05/02/24, especially in the Eastbury area. The forecast for today is predominantly dry. Tomorrow is forecast to start dry, with persistent and at times heavy rain through the evening and overnight. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall and may rise again this week in response to forecast rainfall.

We are monitoring the situation. Please avoid contact with flood water and be aware of flooded roads, do not drive through floodwater. Go to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels. This message will be updated tomorrow, 06/02/2024, or as the situation changes.
