Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are high but steady at the Kites Hardwick gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding is expected to continue. We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the Coventry Road, North Street and Birdingbury Road areas.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to begin falling through today, 09/02/24.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 18:00 on 09/02/24, or as the situation changes.
