Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected on 09 December 2025 .
Heavy rain falling in the area will continue throughout the day.
Properties and low lying areas will start to flood imminently. The main areas of concern are Riverside Kennels and roads at Passaford. If river levels continue to rise, properties around Gribbleford Bridge and at Hatherleigh - including the Fire Station, Petrol Station, Public House, lower end of Bridge Street and the A3072 and A386 - may be affected. Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
