Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen and are still high at the Field Mill Dam river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected to continue. Areas most at risk are Mansfield.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels will continue to remain high over this weekend.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please avoid contact with flood water and move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 21/10/23, or as the situation changes.
