Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are forecast to rise at the Mansfield The Dykes river gauge as a result of further heavy rainfall on Tuesday. Consequently, flooding could occur from after midday into this evening, 02/01/2024. Areas most at risk are the Sherwood Forest Caravan Park and properties near Kings Clipstone. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated by 21:00 this evening, 02/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
