Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are falling slowly but remain high on the River Medway and flooding is expected to continue overnight, Tuesday 7 January 2025 into Wednesday following prolonged rainfall. Areas most at risk include riverside properties in Wateringbury and East Farleigh, particularly around Bow Bridge.

Flooding is expected until the morning of Wednesday 8 January 2025.

We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels.

Act on your flood plan if you have one. Activate any property flood protection products you may have.
