Flood warning

River levels have risen on the River Mells, Whatley Brook due to heavy rainfall overnight. Flooding could occur at properties at Vobster, Great Elm, Egford, Coleford, Mells and Spring Gardens near Frome as further rain is forecast tonight and tomorrow 22/02/2024.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
We are clearing debris from weed screens in the area and we will continue to work with emergency services and local authorities and to keep closely monitoring the situation.
This message will be updated by 12:00 PM on 22/02/2024, or as the situation changes.
