Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall over the past 48 hours. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and low lying land is possible today from 14:00, continuing through the weekend. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for properties on and around Reigate Road at Sidlow.
Further showery rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to remain high today and through the weekend.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris on the River Mole and its tributaries.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and remain aware of your local situation.
