Flood warning

Heavy rain fell in the Nene catchment earlier this week which has caused the River Nene to rise. Low lying areas near the river are flooded and we expect properties at Billing Aquadrome to continue to be affected today, Thursday 26th September 2024. Further heavy rainfall is expected today and into Friday. River levels are expected to remain high. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation, and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine by 17:00 on 27/09/24, or before if the situation changes.
