Flooding expected. Take action now.
Heavy rain has fallen in the River Nene catchment. This has caused the river to rise and will remain high over the next few days. Low lying areas near to the river are already flooded and we expect properties to be affected. Low lying properties on Bridge Street and West Street in Weedon are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine by Tuesday 26th November, or before if the situation changes.
