Flooding expected. Take action now.
The flood warning remains in force for the River Nidd at Low Laithe. River levels on the Nidd at Pateley Bridge are falling but are forecast to rise as a result of forecasted heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland continues. Please be aware that persistent and heavy rain is forecast until Thursday 21/01/2021. We expect river levels to respond in response to any additional rainfall. Please avoid walking or driving through flood water and visit the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this message in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
