This flood warning for the River Nidd at Pately Bridge remains in force. River levels have peaked and will remain high, with no further rise forecast. Areas most at risk include Riverside properties situated along the left-bank and properties situated off Mill Lane, High Street, The Sidings, Millfield Street, King Street and Greenwood Road. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Further rainfall is forecast overnight on Sunday 20/02/2022 which is expected to keep river levels high. Our incident rooms are open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. Consider putting your flood plan into action. This message will be updated by 09:00am on 21/02/2022, or as the situation changes.
