This Flood Warning at Kielder has now been removed. River levels along the North Tyne have now fallen below the flood risk threshold overnight. Further rainfall is forecast for today, 16/02/2020, however we do not expect river levels to rise again significantly in response to this. A flood alert remains in force for the wider area, so flooding may still affect roads and low lying land. Our incident room remains open and we continue to monitor the situation. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
