Warning no longer in force

The rainfall has eased and river levels are generally falling. As a result, there is no longer a risk of flooding in the area.

Blustery showers are expected through Thursday and Friday with the chance of further more persistent rainfall over the weekend.

We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert if necessary.

Continue to take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
