Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today. Flooding is expected from the evening of 23 January 2026 at around 18:00. Locations most affected will be Naburn Lock Buildings and Lock Cottages. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Start acting on your flood plan if you have one and activate any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated by 9:00AM on 24 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
