Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

This flood warning remains in force in response to high levels on Selby Dam following persistent heavy rainfall from Storm Christoph. The areas most at risk are around Leeds Road in Selby. We are pumping at full capacity at Selby Dam pumping station, and are monitoring the situation closely. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours but further unsettled weather is expected later this week. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and do not drive through flood water. Please see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this message in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
