Flood warning

This flood warning remains in force in response to high levels on Selby Dam following recent heavy rainfall from Storm Christoph. Levels are falling slowly. The areas most at risk are around Leeds Road in Selby. We are pumping at Selby Dam pumping station, and are monitoring the pumping arrangements. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours but further unsettled weather is expected from Wednesday, 27/01/2021. Please avoid walking or driving through floodwater and visit the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast. This message will be updated in the next 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
